Innovation, Inspiration, Interaction: EK LIVE Autumn Trade Fair Presents “Impulses to Go”

Bielefeld, September 17, 2025

From September 17 to 19, 2025, Bielefeld becomes the meeting point for owner-operated specialist retailers: Over 250 exhibitors and service providers will showcase strong product ranges, proven concepts and services, as well as forward-looking marketing impulses at EK LIVE – live at the EK Exhibition Center and digitally at www.ek-messen.de. A must-attend event for everyone looking to boost their year-end business and start 2026 with momentum.

The focus of the autumn fair is once again on the EK Home Housewares, EK Home Electrical Appliances, and EK Home Baby & Toys product segments, presenting new ideas and concrete measures to increase footfall and sales.

“EK LIVE is our strategic showcase for retail,” says Jochen Pohle, Chief Retail Officer at EK Retail. “Here, our partners experience how to position themselves for the future with the right assortments and concepts – especially in challenging times.”

EK Home Housewares: New Brands, New Impulses, New Spaces
In the EK Home Housewares segment, visitors can expect an exciting mix of established brands, new suppliers, and creative product ideas. Perfect for revitalizing assortments and positioning as a competent provider in kitchen, household, and lifestyle categories.

Eleven new suppliers are celebrating their premiere in Bielefeld, including Dittert, Brabantia, Wüsthoff, Dutchdeluxe, Ladelle, Broszio, Qult Design, Maeska, Zusss, Daniel Ray, and Rolser. Trend and lifestyle brands such as muurla, Spira of Sweden, Born in Sweden, Moosmed Seifenmanufaktur, and Laboni are also making their first appearance.

A clear sign of the continuous expansion of the EK portfolio with trend-setting and high-margin assortments.
“A real highlight is the new wholesale layout: In addition to the well-known sample system area ‘living,’ we are now showcasing excerpts of the EK modules directly within the respective product bays at EK LIVE. Here, our retailers receive not only inspiration but also concrete ideas for implementation at the POS,” explains Susanne Heiduczek, General Manager EK Home Housewares.

In the leather goods segment, trade visitors can look forward to the brand-new Christmas brochure featuring an attractive mix of trendy brands, gift ideas, and exclusive trade fair offers from American Tourister and Reisenthel, supported by a matching social media campaign.

A permanent component of EK’s assortment strategy remains the EK private label CHEFS & CO, which will be presented at the autumn fair in a more emotional and contemporary way. Complementing this are best-practice examples from the retail sector.

EK Home Electrical Appliances: Innovations, Concepts, Content
Hardly has IFA ended when things continue in Bielefeld. “Many new products from Berlin will be presented again with us: practical, tangible, and in direct exchange with leading industry partners and our electroplus küchenplus team. Anyone who wants to deepen current trends and take away concrete sales impulses is in exactly the right place,” says Martin Wolf, General Manager EK Home Electrical Appliances.

A central theme of the electroplus küchenplus presentation is the further development of the successful 360-degree marketing concept. In addition to classic print and POS advertising, the concept managers are increasingly focusing on data-driven performance marketing and professional social media management. Also presented will be the new mega campaigns, created in close cooperation with leading home appliance manufacturers.

Especially practical: On-site, retailers can have authentic video clips produced for their social media channels. A simple tool with a big impact on visibility and customer loyalty.

Last but not least, the trade fair visit is worthwhile because of the new highlight products and special offers in the large and small appliance segments, which are perfect for strengthening assortments for the year-end business.

EK Home Baby & Toys: More for Families with happybaby
With its successful 360-degree concept happybaby, EK Retail sets standards in the baby specialty trade. True to the brand claim “More for Families,” happybaby offers a comprehensive package of assortment, advice, services, and marketing that enables retailers to stand out effectively from the competition.

“Brand new in our marketing package is the welcome bag for expectant parents: sustainably produced, lovingly packed, and filled with high-quality products from renowned manufacturers such as Sterntaler, MAM, Reer, and Lillydoo. On top of that, there’s a practical guide for baby’s first equipment,” reports André Babenhauserheide, General Manager EK Home Baby & Toys.

Offline, the happybaby concept also offers clear added value, such as the exclusive safety guarantee for car seats or the mobility guarantee for strollers. In addition, targeted POS activities like the popular baby photo shoot create extra appeal. The kiddies magazine, published twice a year, rounds off the cross-media marketing package and delivers relevant content directly to young families – both online and in print.

At EK LIVE, the happybaby model store will be ceremoniously opened on a newly designed area in the exhibition center, featuring a fresh look and feel that makes you want more.

Impulses, Exchange, Future
Whether housewares, home appliances, or baby specialty assortments: EK LIVE is far more than a classic order fair. It is a platform, a networking hub, and an impulse generator for medium-sized specialist retailers. Personal discussions with industry partners, exclusive trade fair offers, inspiring concepts, and creative marketing solutions make the visit a real added value for all participants.
